Your weirdness is a virtue

Sometimes in the mornings, I like to look at myself in the bathroom mirror and pep talk myself back into love. We are often not kind enough to ourselves.

I say things like:

Hi. You are still the child that your mother held and loved and protected. Hi. You are still beautiful and mysterious. Hi. You are doing a great job with the crap on your plate. Hi. You are allowed to not have it all together. Hi. Your weirdness is a virtue. Hi. You can forgive yourself. Hi. The woman you are is quite amazing. Hi. Your love is so good that people think about it randomly throughout the day. Hi. You get to learn more. Hi. You are not always right and that is a good thing. Hi. You are really lovely. Hi. You are kind and good. Hi. You are necessary to the whole thing too. Hi. Holy hell, you are loved.
