The birds are chirping outside of my window which makes me feel so alive. I have a leg of lamb resting on the cutting board and there is a Guinness cake ready for us to devour. I am content. We have a piano in our house now as we have moved in together and I go over every now and again and plink-plink a key. We’ve decided to get a puppy in the summer. The boys grow strong and charming. I’m writing something more than tiny poems on my laptop. My dad is pleased he has survived another winter. I miss my mother. The pool will open in 57 days.
