Welcome to Feral Summer!
The biggest trap of a summer course is dreaming too big and burning out by week three, so we are chasing quick wins. Focus on a micro-project (or two) small enough to start and completely finish this summer. Finish a novel? Maybe not. Write a Modern Love essay? Yes! Write a whole essay collection or chapbook? No. Outline a book or write a book proposal? Yes! Zines, stories, or five amazing poems are all perfect. Let’s do things. Done is better than perfect anyway. Let’s do it wildly, together.
Free / Starts June 2. You do not have to attend all the Zooms (at least the first one?) and can do this solo too, with just check-ins with me if you want.
